All I have to say is, Wow! Nicole just keeps getting better and better. Whether your an NCM fan or just trying this cd out, its sure to please you. This CD is not only perfect for christmas, but all year round as well. It has a smooth blend of upbeat and slow songs. It has traditional christmas classics as well as creative (soon to be classics) that Nicole wrote. My favorite songs are "Lamb of God," "365," and "The Christmas Song" (which she sings with her dad -- he has a great voice by the way). This is a sure winner. Get it. You won't be sorry.

WOW! What a refreshing and enjoyable CD! I didn't love her first CD, but when I listened to "Talk About It" I just couldn't take it out of my CD player. Needless to say I had great expectations for this CD, and I was NOT let down! From start to finish Nicole sings Christmas classics along with the added touch of her great writing and her incredible voice. The highlight of the CD for me was her version of "Away In A Manager" which is entitled "Sacred Night" on this CD. The song starts with the traditional version of "Away In A Manager" then breaks out into a Latin beat that is just amazing. Her daughter Jasmine then sings the second verse followed by more of the Latino groove! I would reccomend this CD to anyone who enjoys listening to Christmas music that stays focused on Christ and has a great beat!

I had never heard Nicole sing before, but was driving my car in an area where I did not know any of the radio stations, and was immediately captured by her version of Emmanuel. I listened to the radio station for 30 minutes waiting to hear a phone number, and when I did I called them to find out who the artist was. I am not typically an emotional person, but her voice was so beautiful I started crying during the song. I can't wait to hear the entire CD.

I love Christmas albums. The day after Thanksgiving I pull out my Christmas CD collection to start out the season right. When I saw this particular album advertised, I just knew I had to add it to my collection. Nicole has a wonderful voice and she has a way of making you feel that you're right there with her and her family. I have two of her other albums and this one is just as fabulous!

"I wish Christmas could last 365 days a year" sings Nicole..which may be why she's come up with a CD you'll want to listen to any time of the year.
Not your usual cheesy cash in album by any means...Nicole only ever disppoints if you expect her to be predictable.
If you loved her first two albums you'll love this one...even if you're reading this review in july!

I grew up listening to Perry Como and Bing Crosby at Christmas and their voices bring back memories, but when I hear Nicole's voice and hear the wonderfully refreshing Christmas music she has created on this CD I can not help but want to dance. So that is just what my daughter and I did as we decorated the Christmas tree.

If you are looking for Christams joy with a beat then you should buy this CD. And check Nicole out live if you can, you will leave with a smile.

I LOVE this album, it's creative & funky but still conveys a strong sense of wonder at the miracle of christmas. It's a family tradition now!!

Nicole C. Mullen is one of my favorite female vocalists. Allow me, then, to state this is neither my favorite Mullen album nor my favorite Christmas album. That being said, this is still a good album and one I would recommend.
For me, the high point would be a pop/R&B Christmas album, and this is very good in that area. The low point is that it contains a lot of songs I'm not as familiar with.
There are some wonderful secular holiday songs, such as "The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire). For me, though, I am a Christian seeking a Christmas item from a Christian artist, and I personally would have preferred an exclusively Christian collection. This is nit-picking, and just my opinion.
If you are looking for a Christmas album for a gift, and that person is into R&B, I believe they would really enjoy the album, maybe more than I do. Forgive me if this review sounds negative: Nicole Mullen had set a high bar, and failed to meet that bar on this project.

Oh, man were we disappointed with this & we really enjoy N.C. Mullens' work/offerings. A bit too secular and the other pieces were just off - didn't really "wow" us as her other CD's have?

We are using Nicole C Mullen, Christmas in Black and White as our Christmas Program at church...The children are sooooooooo excited!
