Jane Bull has had many years' experience working in children's activity books, thinking up fantastic ideas for children to create. Jane has worked on many Dorling Kindersley titles including: The Rainy Day Activity Book, The Outdoor Activity Book and Brilliant Disguises and Clever Costumes. Jane was also one of the original designers on the "DK Eyewitness" series. Her latest books are the award-winning Change Your Room, which was published by Dorling Kindersley in 1998, and The Halloween Book published by Dorling Kindersley in 2000. Jane lives in London.

Full of fun, effective ideas,

I have quite a few craft books for kids, and too many of them have great ideas that don't turn out that great in practice.This one, however, stands out because we've had excellent results. The ball featured on the front cover was particularly effective, and a great use for old Christmas cards. We will make one every year using the previous year's cards. We also made Santa's sleigh out of chocolate cookies, the snow globe, and various ornaments. Every single one turned out as good as the pictures in the book. I highly recommend this book.
