Paul Cardall's music is honest. His performance and compositions reach right into the human soul. I have a lot of new age piano - each of them relax me - but this album is healing. I bought the album in December during the holidays - and even though it has a Christmas title - I am still listening to it and can't get enough of it... I love this music!

This album is the most honest, pure, and heart-felt new age piano album on the market. It's Spring and I'm still listening to this "Chritmas" album - or is it? Overall, it's beautiful. Cardall's orginal style is divine. His arrangements are totally innovative.

I've lost track of how many purchases I've made of 'The Christmas Box' CD over the past few years. At least five: myself, brother, sister, two cousins. It's not a matter of forcing my tastes on them, because they all loved it. My favorites are The Widow's Mansion and Diamonds for Stones, but everything is great.
Percy Faith's Music of Christmas from 50+ years ago has always been special to me, for example a thunderous King Wenceslas and the best Silent Night ever. But The Christmas Box is a new treasure with its own wonders.
All year long, I listen mostly to Paul and to Michael Jones, who are 32 years apart but to me share a certain 'touch' on the piano.

I have had this cd for a few years, and lent it out but never got it back. This was for me, the best christmas music I have heard in a long time. A new twist on a few old favorites and original writing....I must go and find a replacement before the holidays. For anyone interested in piano music for the holidays, this one is well worth it! Thank you for letting me express my opinion

I am a pianist who loves playing similar music and wish so much they would publish this CD in a book. His stylings are fantastic and I fell in love with his playing the first time I heard him.

It's near Christmas and we were listening to The Christmas Box...we've had it for several years. We like it so much that I hopped onto Amazon.com to check for more of Paul Cardall's CDs. Seeing the opportunity to offer a review, I am compelled to encourage anyone looking for beautiful, peaceful Christmas music to pick this one up. You'll love it.

Well written, so like the story line in the "Christmas Box" . They are matched in story line and music presentation.

This is a wow....the piano music carries you away to a peaceful space. this is a must have for Christmas

This is a beautiful cd. I won't just play this at Christmas time. It could be played all year round. It is a shame that they don't play the movie on TV anymore. At least, I could not find it being played anywhere. I think it is because it has the true meaning of Christmas in it. I wanted to buy the movie but I couldn't believe the price and that it is a "collector's item". Since I wouldn't pay what the movie is going for-I bought the cd and I love it! Very peaceful! If you like Jim Brickman, you will love this.

I kept hearing songs from this CD on PANDORA and decided to order it for Christmas. This is now one of our favorite piano CDs, especially for dinner music. A fresh departure from mainline Christmas music. Haunting and soulful. Highly recommended.
