The HUNGARATON CD labelled CHRISTMAS CANTATAS is rather a mix with an Overture a la Pastorelle,then three cantatas from the Harmonischer and a short piece by Bernhard. The overture seems related to the opening concerto in the Opera of the same name but is some 3 minutes longer. Two of the cantatas have been recorded previously. The singers and orchestra are Telemann veterans and perform very well to their artistic director.I would have appreciated a more pertinent choice of pieces-No Overture:No Bernhard and no repitition of recorded cantatas==there are still so many in the Harmonischer waiting to be heard.Please editors give us the TWV numbers, makes collecting much simpler
