I really enjoy listening to Xmas classics on the steel drums. It really is 100% steel drums on many songs, with no vocals.

I would give this item 5 stars if the recording quality were great. Unfortunately, it sounds rather old and thin.

Even so, I'd buy it again knowing the way that it is.

This is the music of angels!!! I couldn't have asked for the most perfect Christmas gifts for all my aunts and uncles. My family, originally from Jamaica, now lives in Toronto. We are always looking for things that remind us of our heritage. This CD definitely delivers!!! It makes you want to lie on the beach in hot sunny weather. Jam packed with the best, most popular Christmas tunes, this CD can be enjoyed at any holiday gathering. The instrumental music is better than listening to a chorus and extremely relaxing for the soul. I am surprised that this selection was available and not sold out by now!

This cd is great around Christmas when youre really sick of hearing the same traditiomally sung songs over and over in the stores (since October!). Its instrumental so the lyrix don't get stuck in your head either. I would definetly reccamend this cd.

This really helped break the winter blues after coming back from jamaica. Not the best quality, but a lot of the other ones I previewed were electronically enhanced, and that is not what steel drums are about.

This is really fun to listen to, a great change and if you love the carribbean it is typical of the islands. However the steel pan drum music gets a little slow and lagging after awhile, just like the carribean can be(LOL) so just change the cd!! i've been listening to this for years now wondering why i left living in the islands!!!

If you love steel drums you'll love this. Reminds me of sitting on the beach w/ a Corona....like the commercial!

This is the perfect album for those who find traditional Christmas carols a bit on the gloomy side, or are just tired of the Same Old Thing playing in the background. The irrepressably happy sound of steel drums and those catchy Caribbean rhythms reshape familiar holiday songs in a fun new way. One warning, though: You may find yourself wanting to put a little umbrella in Santa's glass of milk!

I gave this to my aunt for christmas and she raved about it. It's a great fit for tropical christmases. We don't see much snow in south florida and steel drums add a nice flair with the tropical setting.

It may just be me, but I was disappointed in this album when I received it. It just wasn't what I hoped it would be...most of the songs sounded similar and I believe I could have made a better choice. I guess I was looking for a little more "Buffett" in my Caribbean than I felt like I received with this selection...to each his own.

Got this CD for a Caribbean themed Christmas party that I hosted! It was GREAT! It really gives you the feel of being in the Caribbean and all of your favorite Christmas songs! We even did the limbo to a few of them! If you want a true taste of the Caribbean at Christmas... this is the CD for you!
