I loved this version of A Christmas Carol! It has some good songs and is very enjoyable. I recommend this to all children and even most adults wouldn't mind watching this. Tim Curry is not to be missed as Scrooge! If you have any questions or comments on my review please e-mail.

I was a bit skeptical to buy this because I am not too keen on the "animated" or "musical" versions of this timeless classic. But, the all-star cast peaked my curiosity, so I decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed it. Tim Curry is terrific as Scrooge as is Michael York as his gentle-mannered apprentice, Bob Cratchet. I was amazed at just how closely they followed the book too, including scenes that I've never seen in the film versions. The music is rememerable and catchy (although not overly seasonal) and the added character; Scrooge's dog, "Debit" (aptly titled) adds just the right amount of humor. I really recommend this for fun family holiday viewing.

You will come away remembering such songs as "Santa's Sooty Suit", "Random Acts of Kindness" and "Tale about Christmas". If you like animated versions, check out the Mr. Magoo , and the Flintstone versions as well as "The Stingiest Man in town" with the voices of Tom Bosley and Walter Matthau.

Don't listen to any negative reviews about this "yet another" cartoon version of A Christmas Carol. While the animation is just fair and admittedly does not compare to some of the movies out today, the delivery of the story is wonderful. The tale is familiar, albeit with the addition of a dog for Scrooge fittingly named Debit, but it is the addition of broadway worthy song that makes this version of A Christmas Carol unforgettable. A must see!

This is a really good movie with its great artwork,music,and thier wonderful Christmas songs.A must see movie for little kids and thier families.MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I bought this because Whoppi Goldberg was one of the voices.

It is a cute cartoon & follows the story pretty well. They have added a a few extra things but not to ruin it

This version is simply just fun to watch and my family we just love it. The songs are very catchy and the art and animation wonderful. And it stays true to the story. We watch it all the time......! A must have for every growing family.

I love this story and I cant stop watching this video. It is well done with voices and character development. The moral is timeless and I recommend this as a good family video for young kids. When I watch this video, I feel like a kid again.

This video is nicely done and is a good way for younger children to become familiar with the Christmas Carol story.
