The Usborne Book of Christmas Carols is a book to treasure. It has many full page color illustrations, and at least one small illustration on each page, if not a large one. It contains the words and music to 30 classic Chrismas Carols, including: 1. Away in a Mager2.The Holly and the Ivy 3. O Little Town of Bethlehem 4. DIng Dong! Marrily on HIgh The First Noel Unto Us a Child is Born It came upon Midnight clear Good Christian men, Rejoice! Angels we have heard on high Silent Night See amid the Winter's snow THe Birds Gabriel's Message Hark! Good King Wenceslas God Rest You Meryy Gentlemen Here We Come A-Caroling Past Three O'Clock The Twelve Days of Christmas Deck the Hall with Boughs of Holly We Wish you a Merry Christmas The music is written for piano, but gutar chords are also included. The music is reletivly simple, but not a beginner level, however, it sounds quite nice. All in all, this is an excellent book.

This review is from: The Usborne Book of CHRISTMAS CAROLS (Paperback)
This is a very nice collection of carols set in colorful pages with attractive artwork. The piano arrangements are fairly simple without sounding clunky. Guitar chords are also provided, but sometimes are a bit "busy" with color chords. Most tunes could be also played by second year students of flute, recorder, or violin. The book is large enough to be easily read while light enough to rest on a portable music stand.

"On the 26th Day of Christmas.....You May Want to Buy Songbooks of Carols for Next Christmas!",
By
This review is from: The Usborne Book of Christmas Carols (Songbooks) (Paperback)
When you start looking for a good collection of Christmas Carols that can easily be used by children and adults, this is the right copy. In this colorful collection, illustrated by Stephen Cartwright of Usborne Publishing, you will find angels serenading every one of the 30 songs which contain the music and the lyrics for several verses.
There is also one page showing the guitar chord diagrams, so that if you are the guitarist, you will be able to provide the accompaniments. Economically, this book is also a value, considering the children or adults will want their own copies of this book. By far, it's a good value. So, it's a long way to Christmas; well, it is good to be prepared.
