The music is written for piano, but gutar chords are also included. The music is reletivly simple, but not a beginner level, however, it sounds quite nice. All in all, this is an excellent book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Melodies Coupled with Attractive Artwork, January 11, 2011
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very nice collection of carols set in colorful pages with attractive artwork. The piano arrangements are fairly simple without sounding clunky. Guitar chords are also provided, but sometimes are a bit "busy" with color chords. Most tunes could be also played by second year students of flute, recorder, or violin. The book is large enough to be easily read while light enough to rest on a portable music stand.

5.0 out of 5 stars "On the 26th Day of Christmas.....You May Want to Buy Songbooks of Carols for Next Christmas!", February 2, 2010
When you start looking for a good collection of Christmas Carols that can easily be used by children and adults, this is the right copy. In this colorful collection, illustrated by Stephen Cartwright of Usborne Publishing, you will find angels serenading every one of the 30 songs which contain the music and the lyrics for several verses.

There is also one page showing the guitar chord diagrams, so that if you are the guitarist, you will be able to provide the accompaniments. Economically, this book is also a value, considering the children or adults will want their own copies of this book. By far, it's a good value. So, it's a long way to Christmas; well, it is good to be prepared.
