I am an adult and started playing from this book last year when I had about 9 months of Suzuki lessons behind me. Having this book of carols was a great thing!! Because I already knew the carols, it was easier to play them than some of the unknown Suzuki pieces. Starting in October, my teacher and I began practicing some of the carols in this book. By Christmas, I was playing 6 or 7 songs. We both really enjoyed it as we played harmony on many of the carols. There is enough of a challenge to the music to keep me working for several Christmas seasons to come!! I played my first double stops from this book!!

This book has a beautifully designed glossy cover. The music in it is well written and edited. I found it particularly useful for adult students and younger violinists as well. The book is durable and printed on heavy weight paper. The selections are appropriate for the Holiday season with very interesting harmonies never before seen in my experience. I can recommend this book to anyone interested in adding it to a library of musical keepsakes.

Mr. Waldbauer offers a very well-presented book, which is arranged with enough eas for beginners to perform and for professionals to use as a chart for entertaining during the holidays. This well-known composer & violinist will hopefully be publishing more books soon!

Buy it while you can! Your students and audiences will love it!

My instructor was impressed with this sheet music. I am a beginner, but am able to play parts of every song in the book. My instructor also enjoyed the book and found some of the arrangements challenging! So it is a music book that will grow with your abilities.
