5.0 out of 5 stars ONE OF MY FAVORITES!
Christmas Carols of the Young Messiah is one of my favorite holiday cd's. We listen to it several times during the weeks before Christmas. My children, ages 9 yrs. and 11 yrs. love it too. Be sure to listen to Savior's Day!

2.0 out of 5 stars Rather Uninspired
This album was a collection of mediocre and rather uninspired songs from Christian artists. The only real highlights were Sandi Patty's "O Holy Night" and Twila Paris's rendition of "Have Yourself..." Where's Amy Grant? Point of Grace's "Hark the Herald" is dull as well - not up to par with their fabulous Christmas CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorites, December 14, 2002

I borrowed this album from a friend a few years ago, and ever since, it has been something I listen to every Christmas. It is nice to hear some of the best CCM artists singing some common Christmas carols (both religous ones, and a few secular ones). Each artist adds their own personal touch to the song, making it their own. If you're a Contemporary Christian music fan, or even if you are not, I recomend this album to anyone who loves Christmas music.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best!, December 11, 2008
This review is from: Christmas Carols of the Young Messiah (Audio CD)
I have had this CD since it came out in '95 and I LOVE it!! "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "Joy to the World", "The First Noel", "Saviour's Day", "A King is Born", "For Unto You", "Season of Love" and the "Angel's Medley" are all awesome! I like all the songs on the CD, but these are my very favorites. =) I would recommend this CD to anyone who loves Christmas music...you will love it! Most of the songs are not sung in the "traditional" manner but they will have you singing along for sure!

This CD will get you into the real spirit of Christmas. A chance to hear timeless classics with the new voice of our generation. Point of Grace's "Hark the Hearald Angels Sing" will get you praising Him and lift your own spirit. A must have for any Christmas collection.
