Caution: This is NOT his 1958 "Music of Christmas" LP,

This is not a warning, but only a caution: this is NOT a CD version of Percy Faith's 1958 stereo Columbia Records "Music of Christmas" - like I was HOPING it was; this is instead very similar arrangements, recorded in MONO. This CD may very well be an actual copy of his 1954 LP of the same title, as I could swear that I heard a record 'pop' on track 3? Unless you're picky like me, you might not even realize that the arrangements here are just a litte tiny bit different for two seconds here or there. In other words, if you liked his original 1954 monophonic "Music of Christmas" album, then you will love this CD. However, if you're like me, you are tired of waiting for Columbia Records to remaster his 1958 stereo release of "Music of Christmas", and realize that may never happen, and that this CD might be as good as it gets. If anybody out there has a buddy at Sony / Columbia Records, would you please have them remaster the Percy Faith 1958 "Music of Christmas" on a CD in stereo?Regarding the music - the version here of "Good King Wenceslas" is the BEST version on the planet, as is "Deck the Halls"; you can't lose with that great pair of Christmas songs by Percy Faith and His Orchestra. Happy Holidays to you and to yours!
