This isn't the one to get., December 13, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Christmas Classics (Audio CD)
While all the performances on this CD are worth having in your collection, you should be aware that the 1993 compilation IF EVERY DAY WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS includes everything here, as well as every other Christmas recording Presley ever made. That CD is only (...a little) more than this one and is the Elvis Christmas disc of choice.

Another low budget Christmas CD, December 12, 2006
This review is from: Christmas Classics (Audio CD)
This is a low-budget Christmas compilation. It is not bad, but there are better ones available. The first 5 songs are from his classic 1957 Christmas album and the last 4 songs are from his 1971 "The Wonderful World of Christmas". This CD has some really good songs on it, but it only has 9 songs. I would recommend that you spend a few extra bucks and buy the outstanding "If Everyday Was Like Christmas" CD which contains every Christmas song that Elvis recorded!

Where love never miss a cue, September 30, 2000
This review is from: Christmas Classics (Audio CD)
"O come, all ye faithful", You the all mighty! Come, all angels and saints of the other world, of the elsewhere. Finally triumph, happy in this true Bethlehem into us. The king of angels is born; the Savior is the truth in us.
"The First Noel" In the dark fields of our inner lies on us angels sang the first truth. The King... in our concerns is light; it is the love on our law of survival. Poor naked shepherds whom we are in our stall, this -inner self- so deeply in our heart Christmas was born.
"Winter Wonderland", Bells, Sleigh, Snow... The world is suddenly marvelous. The summer took off. A new mind hovers us. A song of love... Conspire a big feast. Let's imagine a snowman to recognize it when we'll see it.
"Silver Bells" Crowded cities, decorated of hopes, infants... laughter's; Fires, red to the green, let pass our gifts charged of the desire to make pleasure. Became Fathers, for the day that comes.
"Blue Christmas", Blue, blue...Blues. The past stays late in time. Days are shorter; colors dim. Snow White is missing. This silence...
"Silent night", nothing more comes to disturb the search for peace of mind... The instant is consecrated. In our child's memory Christ is living. Christ, this search of peace that, shut down noises...
"White Christmas", dreaming... has it snowed... calm is on the ground... What a contrast with trees...Beautiful now... I think about all those of my life... A white wish in my heart is written.
"I'll be home for Christmas", Where love never miss a cue... Well that's... Right here... In you, in me... That's home... And we'll sure be there for Christmas.
"Oh Little Town of Bethlehem", ... But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5.2) - Smallest in us it is the truth.
