The Oak Ridge Boys began their career in 1945 as a gospel quartet known as Oak Ridge Quartet. The majority of their success came after they changed their name and began making country music in 1977. This is my favorite Christmas CD. Normally, I only want to hear the familiar Christmas songs, but the songs on this CD are wonderful...some are touching and some are witty and make me smile.

I can't believe I don't hear this more on the radio.

what can i say? if you like the oakridge boys, this Christmas cd is wonderful. i have this on an LP. i've been looking for years for this on a cd. the oakridge boys' voices are just perfect for Christmas songs!
