This was one of my favorite books growing up, made me cry everytime I read it. The ironic part is I later got a collie and found this book last week...made me cry more then EVER!!! great book.

I just purchased this book and I was in tears when I finished reading it! This is such a beautiful book...the story is heartwarming and the illustrations are gorgeous. Anyone who has ever wished to find a Collie puppy under the Christmas tree (like me!) will thoroughly enjoy reading it and reading it to a child.

I've had Collies all my life. This book is so hearfelt, I wanted my son to experience it as well. If you have a Collie, you know how much love they give. An excellent book for all ages, and especially for the holidays.

The Christmas Collie is a beautiful story of a child and his dog as they grow together. It is a story of friendship, love, and sharing through the stages of life.

The art work in this book pulls a child into its story. It is so realistic that a child actually wants to be a part of pictures that impart so much feeling between a boy and his beautiful Collie dog. This is an excellent story to be used in a classroom sitting if the reader can control the tears.
