Pete and Ray are brothers who are involved in a long standing feud which started when Ray married Pete's ex-girlfriend. Pete was already upset over his wife leaving and saw this as a double betrayal. Pete's son, Michael, was also hurt at his mother's exit and got into trouble with the police. Christmas provisions have to be delivered to Alaska which means Pete and Ray have to work together. On the way they have to stop to pick up Ray's estranged Wife who is pregnant. On the journey they have to learn to forgive each other because only by working together can they survive the journey. Tom Wopat and John Schneider are excellent as feuding brothers who love each other really. Kim Delaney is perfect as the alienated and pregnant wife. Zachary Ansley is great as the rebellious teenage son. Hoyt Axton is fantastic as their late father's business partner. If you like warm and fuzzy moments then you will love this film. A great film for all the family.

This movie reminds us of the reasons for the Holiday season. It brings back the family and should be watched by adults and children of all ages. It is a current movie that updates "It is a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. I can't begin my Holiday season without watching this movie. My children look forward to watching this movie every year and they are now teenagers. I highly recomend this movie.

Yup! fueding brothers - I don't think they even understand why.

Willow Creek - a little town in Alaska that is losing its Christmas spirit.

A teenage boy feeling rejected by his father [Tom Wopat] and not knowing how to express himself.

Then we have Pete's ex-girlfriend and Ray's estranged wife - talk about a mix-up. Complete with flash-backs to bring us up-to-date.

Their father's partner asks the men to drive a semitruck load of christmas gifts north to Alaska - to put their fueding aside for this run.

Of course, Ray [John Schneider] takes a little side trip to Reno much to his nephews glee. Yup! trouble again.

Of prime importance is the lose of "Christmas Spirit" both in the town of Willow Creek and by the brothers.

The slide of the semi into a snow bank was sure worth it.

How it comes back into their lives is the wonderful point of the story, an amazingly touching.

Definitely Recommended +++++

"Christmas comes to Willow Creek" is a great holiday movie that the entire family can enjoy. John Schneider and Tom Wopat (Dukes of Hazzard) star as battling brothers, who only through the spirit of Christmas are able to end their fued, and save the town of Willow Creek. A must see for anyone filled with the joy of Christmas.

I was disappointed with this one...the storyline was okay, but I was surprised at the amount of foul language. It says "not-rated", so it's a little misleading. If you're particular about what your kids see these days, I'd skip this one. I would not consider it a good, "family Christmas movie". There are too many that are much better to fill that category. If you find it at a library or rent it for a night, you might want to see it, but it's not worth the selling price.

I loved this charming, christmas movie! It is a story about two feuding brothers, who are as different as night and day! One brother Pete(TOM WOPAT), who has always been loyal, and level headed, and dependable, and caring; while the other brother Ray(JOHN SCHNEIDER) is wild, and always getting into trouble, and fighting, and he is also very handsome, and he is a real charmer with the ladies!

Pete is divorced, with a teenage rebellious son, and Pete is nursing a broken heart over losing his ex-girlfriend, Jesse! Jesse(Kim Delaney) is a very beautiful waitress, who fell in love with Pete's brother Ray, instead of Pete! Jesse and Ray got married! And so from then on ,Pete and Ray became feuding brothers!

Meanwhile Ray and Pete, are semi truckers working for Al(Hoyt Axton), who owes a trucking company; Ray and Pete's father, was Al's business partner, and Al's best friend; so after Ray and Pete's father died, Al has helped raise and watch over Ray and Pete! Al is trying to help his boyhood hometown of Willow Creek in Alaska; Willow Creek is a dying town, that has lost their canning factory, and alot of people has lost their jobs, and no one has much money for Christmas, and for their children! So Al, decides to help the townspeople, and to bring a truckload of toys for the children of Willow Creek!

Then Al gets sick, and gets Pete and Ray to drive the truckload of gifts to Willow Creek, which is a long journey, especially with Ray, and Pete, and Pete's teenage son, all going together; and then Ray visits his estranged wife Jesse, and founds out that Jesse is very pregnant, and makes her go with them to Willow Creek! A lot of amazing things happen on their long trip, but when they run into a blizzard, the most amazing thing of all happens for them!

I actually saw this movie when it first came out. I was 14 years old. I've been trying to remember the name and find it ever since. I'm now 31 and just found and ordered it, I can't wait for it to come. I remember it as being a wonderfully touching movie about two brothers at odds with one another. A movie that shows how people who really love one another can put aside their differences and come together. Once again this are just what I remember from watching this movie more than 15 years ago, I can't wait to get it!!!
