In a version of the Nativity story told by the donkey, a stubborn donkey believes that he should be employed by a king, not by the poor carpenter and his wife who own him.

great christmas gift,

This review is from: The Christmas Donkey (Paperback)
I found myself pondering and chuckling over this story for days. The litle donkey is such a perfect study of our human nature...stubborn and selfish even in our attempt to honor God. "Don't bite the ox on the rump" will be a new quote in our family.
