This is a really fun book series for the budding artist in your family. Probably for ages 10 and under. Each page has some drawing already on it but asks child to "add the decoration to the top of the tree" or something similarly simple. Some pages are simple and some more complex. Allows creativity and freedom but yet gives fun ideas for those having a 'creativity block.' I think we'll buy all of them in the set.

We bought this one before Christmas to 'pass the time' til the big day. We got the boy's specific one for under the tree. He took the Christmas one to school for the Christmas party and it was a hit. The pages are heavier than computer paper, but not quite card stock. It's a very bright white with a good texture. It's not that cheap coloring book brownish stuff they put out these days. This paper is high quality. Any one of any age can finish the doodles. This is a great series. My 8 year old has enjoyed both books and both are pretty well filled up already. I've done a few myself. You can't beat the price for the quality of these books.

My son loves this book. It has a different doodle idea on every page. My only issue is that it is hard to keep it laying flat but we just bend the bind and it does fine! I even doodled with him and he loved it!

These books have provided great entertainment for my twin Kindergarteners (boy and girl). Though I often have to read the one sentence instructions to them (their reading is not that strong yet), they really enjoy drawing and following the instructions. Some pages say "Decorate the tree" or that type of thing. Great little books.
