They never cease to amaze me,

Since I got the email regarding their new "Christmas Dreams", I have visited "2002"'s website many times to hear what I could of the songs, before my arrived in the mail today. I was so amazed with their choice of instruments, and wondering what they were, I contacted Pam copus to find out. Their use of the marvelous flutes, harps and the fantastic wind instrument, WX5 on "What Child is This" gives a whole new life to the traditional Christmas music we know. I have everything they have recorded and often wished the "exceptional spirits" they are, would do a Christmas album and it is like a special "present". I have put the word out to all my friends.

More Than Musicians,

I listened to the entire CD this morning. The 2002 duo are much more than just musicians; they're true artists. If the angels on high were to musically tell the Christmas Story, it would sound like this CD. A
superb session!

I am moved by the composition, the emotion and what their work means to me and my family. Truly, their work is artistry. Thank you!Though their touch is on the old works, the music retains the image of what we all grew up with and brings that familiar "feel good" emotion. To listen to their music while watching the children open presents brings a familiar glow, and I know I can say, "Thank you, God!"

Beautiful! Only complaint is that there isn't more. The calm, relaxing versions of beloved Christmas music are just what is called for at the end of a hectic day.

There is no end to the wonder and beauty of the music 2002 creates. This CD gives new life to Christmas music while keeping its soul in tact. Their spectacular arrangements and unique blend of instruments is beyond compare, and used to give the music a life of its own.
The Carol of the Belles is my favorite, but every song is a masterful arrangement. What a wonderful gift for the season..a 2002 Christmas. Michael

Beautiful version of Xmas melodies,

Great CD, once again. Xmas songs are themselves full of cosy atmosphere but 2002 version of some of those melodies is definitely something more than that since what they realized can be listened during the whole year and not only at Xmas time. On the other hand, their melodies are perfect for a Xmas celebration.

About time,

How refreshing to have a Christmas CD that is easy to listen to from beginning to end. By redoing classic Christmas songs in a soothing way makes the holiday less stressfull. It's also nice to use as background music when entertaining family or guests. Kuddos to 2002!

Tedious at best,

I'm at a loss as to why 2002 has any fans at all, and this CD doesn't do anything to help explain it. As with other CD's I've heard from them, the songs are tedious, not all that original (everything starts sounding the same --- like bad MIDI), and sleep-inducing. If you want sleep-inducing Christmas music, there are plenty of solo piano CDs out there that are far better. For me, I prefer Christmas music that celebrates the season and keeps you awake.
