Christmas records are a dime a dozen - with some artists turning them out with little regard or feeling . This CD is different with Don McLean reflecting on Christmas past - a long long time ago....... His voice is smooth and strong - as he delivers these songs with enthusiasm and feeling . The highlight ? On The last month of the year and his haunting rendition of Oh Holy Night (the hairs on my neck pricked with this one). If you love to hear the singer sing - then this CD deserves a listen .
