A CHEERFUL EARFUL!!!!
Ten perfectly performed Christmas Carols from four very skilled English Cathedral Choirs.
Many of the selections are probably familiar to music listeners such as: Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Deck the Halls, Away in a Manger. Some of the less known, but immensely attractive are: DingDong Merrily on High, See Amid the Winter's Snow, Christians Awake, The Holly and the Ivy, The Coventry Carol, Hail Blessed Virgin Mary and As With Gladness. The arrangements are absolutely captivating which adds much interest to all of the renditions.
The choirs are: Marlborough Cathedral Choir, St. Paul Cathedral, Norwich Cathedral and Wells Cathedral Choir. Those of you who are familiar with the English Choir Sound (usually all male) will totally enjoy this disc.
Look at the price!!! HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG?????
