A suspenseful page-turner with a twist,

Val Virgo is a one-time country singer and a burned out talk show host. He's led a disorderly life, but that's no reason for him to be targeted by a mad bomber on a vengeful quest. And until Val can figure out who's trying to kill him, and why, both his life and his newfound love are in terrible danger.This is a fast-moving story with a rich cast of characters and a plot that keeps the reader guessing right up until the final shattering scenes. But even more absorbing is the glimpse inside the mind of Virgo himself. Val Virgo is irreverent, tender, funny, cynical and philosophical by turns... and always politically incorrect! In fact, he is so memorable and delightful that this reader hopes the cryptic final sentence contains promise of a sequel in the offing.... |
