5.0 out of 5 stars Satan vs. Santa, December 4, 2005
This review is from: Christmas in Hell: Holiday Letters We Hate From People We Love ... or Vice Versa (Paperback)
The Satan vs. Santa letter is one of my favorite letters of the book. Christmas in Hell is a fun and easy read. If you're tired of the old boring Christmas letters we all get, then take this book and stuff it ... into your stocking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Take THAT Aunt Sylvia, December 4, 2005
By
This review is from: Christmas in Hell: Holiday Letters We Hate From People We Love ... or Vice Versa (Paperback)
Are you sick of holiday greetings touting your cousin Ricky's rise to power at the local Pottery Barn? Or tired of hearing about Aunt Sylvia's brushes with greatness ("I'm pretty sure it was Tony Orlando")?

Well, the yuletide yammerings of "Christmas in Hell" put them all to shame. Wait until the family hears about Devon Landrews, who was recently promoted to Junior Vice President of VP Operations. Or his Uncle Walton's chance meeting with Joe Pesci at the market (sadly, this was also a case of mistaken identity).

This book is great for some Christmas laughs, and reminds you `tis the year for caring and sharing. And sharing. And sharing. And sharing...

Who knew Uncle George had so much in common with - Satan?!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun & fast read, November 30, 2005
This review is from: Christmas in Hell: Holiday Letters We Hate From People We Love ... or Vice Versa (Paperback)
The pirate kid writing to Santa, the Lucifers summer vacationing in Phoenix and the actor living in a walk in closet with two other actors were funny as "hell." Anyone who has read Lent's magazine columns or other book knows his sense of humor is playful and absurd. Also, very visual with words jumping at you like a mongoose. This book will fit easily in a coat or back pocket for reading on the flight home over the holidays.
