This is a decorative item, not a toy, that is why is received only two stars for educational value. However, it will be durable if treated as a decoration and it is fun for the kids to watch. Also, this item is nicer then the picture appears. Just a note,
I purchased both this set and the singing penguin family set and found that both decorations play the same song with the same voices (We Wish You A Merry Christmas) and that the bear family actually looks better in hand.

I bought this as a gift for my best friend and she really loved it. I bought a set of snow men for myself and they are adorable to. I wish I had purchased one of the bears for myself as well. They play a cute Christmas tune and move and "dance" along. Great gift idea.
