Great Tradition to Start with Young Children,
By jayec (NEW JERSEY USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Christmas Keepsake - A Treasury of Best-Loved Stories and More (Hardcover)
This is a great book. I bought it because it reminded me of an easter book, The Great Easter Egg Hunt. I bought that book a couple of years ago and started an Easter tradition. Inside the big book are smaller books. I plan to start a Christmas tradition with my children of reading the individual books on the evenings preceding Christmas Eve. This is similar to what I do with the Easter book. I am really looking forward to it because my five year old and two year old had so much fun with the Easter book earlier this year.

You can create a wonderful ritual!,
This review is from: Christmas Keepsake - A Treasury of Best-Loved Stories and More (Hardcover)
Thanks to this keepsake with 25 little books, I created a wonderful ritual with my 3 years old daughter. I use it with an advent calender (which was also bought here, in Amazon Books). When she opens the "window" of the day, she owns the right of listening to "the story of the day" too. You must see her face when her little hands open the keepsake, looking foward to the story. And the best part: after all, we together put the green ilustrated book in the tree -- because it is also an ornament. And, then, Alice go to sleep very happy, dreaming of Santa Claus and the magic of the holidays. These moments can make a Christmas unforgetable -- for a mother and a daughter.
