The Harlem-born star dominated the urban landscape beginning in 1987 with his triple-platinum debut Make It Last Forever. He repeated the feat with ’90’s I’ll Give All My Love To You, whose title track as well as the signature song Make You Sweat were #1 smashes. Both albums hit #1 R&B, as did his next three discs Keep It Comin’ (’91), Get Up On It (’94) and Keith Sweat (’96). On his first collection of holiday music, Keith Sweat will prove there’s no one better qualified to deliver a Yuletide disc titled A Christmas Of Love.

That Keith Sweat style, but all about the Christmas mood,

I've been a fan of Keith Sweat's since 1987 and, despite the occassional slight departure from his bass-heavy, keyboard-driven R&B style, his style has pretty much stayed the same, and that's a good thing. He has a tried and true style that's as entertaining and good as it was back in the late 1980s.
And that style is here on his Christmas album -- the sound's the same, but the topics are all about the holiday. Some may not like that he doesn't perform such classics as "The Christmas Song" the traditional way, but given the familiarity of the old classic performances of such a song, it's good to hear that Keith Sweat just sang it in his style, rather than changing to mimic what we've already heard before and know full well.

After all of these years, I am STILL the biggest Keith Sweat fan, I like everything he does. This CD was just as good as anything he done in the past. Not your traditional Christmas songs, which you tend to burn out on. If your looking for a laid back R&B type thing, this is it. I would highly recommend it.
