Michael Wolff's Christmas Moods does just that.Put you in Christmas state of mind. Whether as party music in the background as revelers wax nostalgically,or sitting alone by the tree in reflection this is a different holiday offering. Darker in tone. Hip in it's east coast feel. Michael's musicianship is first rate, as are all others involved (including Warren Zevon's vocal). This is adult stuff that kids will eventually grow into and appreciate for years to come.

Not tacky like some Christmas songs..and not tiresome to listen to several times in the Christmas evening..with friends, hot chocolate and the fireplace so bright. I love Warren Zevon's singing but it made me really think about lost loved ones, including Warren at this time of year. They are missed by the fireside.
