This is a nice collection of Christmas music. After trying to play a few of the pieces my daughter commented "this book isn't for dummies." You should definitely be at an intermediate playing level to enjoy this book. Most arrangement sound very good.

I purchased this to play background music at a Christmas party last weekend. It was a HIT! The songs are easy to sightread in tempo, and lots of folks gathered round the piano to sing and throw out song choices (and most were in this book). Have already recommended it to a other keyboard playing friends as a resource for traditional and "pop" Christmas tunes.

The arrangements are great fun, but a bit too challenging for an early player. Most of these are in the 1-2+ year difficulty level. They lack any of the training tools that would be expecting in a for dummies book like fingering suggestions and big notes. A great training tool with some very fun arrangements, but it can be discouraging if bought too early.

I purchased this book for 1) I am a beginner 2) wanted to learn more modern christmas songs, and 3) it has Feliz Naveda!

The pieces are not so much for dummies (aka beginners) and I would say level of music theory and have had been practicing for over 6 months is the demand level or higher. Great pieces and I am glad there are some level of difficulties that will make me use this book for some time to come.

there is also a middle section in the book that explains how the pieces should be played or some interesting facts about the song. great value, none the less.
