This is an EXCELLENT book, filling a long-time need for collectors and dealers alike. A lot of information is available elsewhere on the Christmas plates by these two companies, but no other book in nearly 40 years has covered the commemorative plates, Easter plates, plaquettes, bells, mugs, and a host of other collectible by Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl. The pictures alone are easily worth more than the cost of the book, just so that you have some idea of what's available. The price guide, like ALL price guides, reflects the experiences and preferences of the author, and has to be taken with a grain of salt, but it usually gets you to the right ballpark. This book is ALWAYS on my desk.
