5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful read for both child and parent!, November 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Christmas Play (Hardcover)
I actually picked this book up in St. Paul's gift shop in London on a recent trip not knowing if it was available in the U.S. This is a delightful story told in verse that will bring a smile to anyone familiar with Christmas plays. The illustrations are superb. I collect Christian children's books and this is definitely a keeper. It will go nicely with The Grumpy Shepherd and a Tale of Three Trees. Although the recommended age group is listed as 4-8, I would suggest this book is more appropriate for the wee ones (to be read by mom or dad) or the youngster just learning to read. A wonderful opportunity to share quality time with your child and share the Christmas story all at once. A true treasure!
