Some where I read this was a "review" of former books in the series. I would call it a tie-in. There is much "missing information" that ties loose ends left in previous books. I would consider it most enjoyable if you are into the series, as I am. A must read!

I LOVE this series of books. For those who like books about women bonding and quilting -- these books by Jennifer Chiaverini will MOST DEFINITELY hold your interest. I love the setting of the books and the fact that each book -- while part of a 14 + book series -- still stand alone and can be read without reading the others [though, once one reads evern ONE of this series of books, one WILL WANT to read ALL of them!].

Loved the books. Jennifer Chiaverinni is another author that doesn't let you down. I love the fact that they are putting 2 books into one. Saves space on your bookshelves for more books.

I love reading these books during the holiday season. I usually pull out the books to read during that time.

Love the series. It has given me a good history of the different quilt patterns.

The two stories in this book were to short for me. I would have loved to learned more about NY City and its history above and beyond the official history books. I can't wait for more of the Elm Creek Quilters books.

The Elm Creek Quilts series is awesome and I have enjoyed every one I've read and always look forward to the coming ones.

Great story line as all the books in this series have been. Can't wait to read the next book. If you love history and quilting, then Elm Creek Quilts are a must read for you.

This book is part of a series of books. Excellent reading about life and friendship among quilters. The whole series has been great.

Reading these stories brought back a desire to learn how to quilt. Writer brings the characters to life.

The book was in new condition, however, the print was too small and I ended up ordering the two books individually for that reason and donated the first combined book to charity. Otherwise, review would have been 5 star.
