I Found Joy in This CD!, December 5, 2000

Imagine my delight when the very first cut on the CD ("2000 Decembers Ago" by Joy Williams) was one of the most beautiful new songs I've ever heard. Who is this Joy Williams, and why hasn't her work been exposed? With a voice that is both angelic and powerful, she should be hitting the charts. I would buy her music in a New York minute. This CD as a whole ranges from contemporary to light-hearted -- from classic Christmas songs to jazzy instrumentals. I loved it. It will be a favorite of mine for many Christmas's to come.
