The modern depiction of Santa Claus as a fat, jolly man (or gnome) wearing a red coat and trousers with white cuffs and collar, and black leather belt and boots, became popular in the United States in the 19th century due to the significant influence of caricaturist and political cartoonist Thomas Nast.

Good for the price - only drawback is the elastic that holds the beard over your ears isn't terribly strong and halfway through an evening you can wind up looking like Dan Aykroyd from "Trading Places" if you are not careful.

I recently purchased this Santa beard and wig for my son because he went as Santa for Halloween. It worked out great. My son is 10 years old and the wig fit great with the hat on his head. I did add an extra piece of elastic to keep the beard on a little more snugly for when he ran from house to house. A great purchase and it was much cheaper than any other store and it looked authentic!

Good beard for the price, mine arrived just in time for Halloween. The elastic is weak and just has pieces that go on your ears so tie a rubber band on them to go around the back of your head.

great quicky easy will order again
I ordered this beard before christmas its a great cheap beard. Came like new and delievered very quickly. only problem im a girl so I had to tape it to my face since its so big.

Way too large

good basic Santa beard!
We needed new hair and beard for the Santa cosutme at our church. This was a good fit. Worked out great and will hopefully last for years to come!

Good value for the cost
The wig was a good value- we did have some problems keeping the wig on the face- it kept slipping down- but it looked pretty good.
