The songs are all old favorites, but when you hear them sung by Roger Whittaker's mellow voice, they are fresh again. The one that many might not be familiar with is Sussex Carol.
This CD will be one you will play while you write Christmas cards, and on many other occasions to get you in the holiday spirit. It's a beauty.

I first heard of Roger Whittaker on the Time-Life Treasury of Christmas and instantly loved his voice. This CD is incredible! His voice is amazing and I highly reccommend this.

I've heard these songs sung many times in my life. For some reason Roger Whittaker's renditions never get old. I'm not exactly sure why but these really are songs sung very well. You won't be disappointed.

I first heard Roger sing Ding Dong Merrily on High on a Time-Life Christmas compilation I have. It knocked me over. When I saw this CD in the store, I bought it immediately. In addition to Ding Dong Merrily, my favorite cuts are The Holly and the Ivy, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, The 12 Days of Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night. The musical arrangement, the background singers and the children's choir all add to Roger's talents. Most of these songs are heard very often at Christmas, but Roger makes them feel new. He's apparently recorded many Christmas songs. Past Three O'Clock and Rocking are not on this disc, but the 17 songs that are sound great.

I downloaded the MP3 album because we lost the cassette copy we bought years ago. We play Christmas music constantly during the holidays, and we were so glad to get this in the mix on our MP3 player. This CD is a very nice mix of carols and a few popular Christmas songs, sung as only Roger Whittaker can. Nice to play during meals and get-togethers. I really like the orchestration, and the chorus enhances several of the selections. Highly recommended!

Everyone wants to Christmas to include some of the magic they remember as a child.
For my brother and I, this album is just that!

It seemed. that for most of the songs, Roger was waiting to get in on the act whilst the constant bells and choir went on and on.
Most of the songs were in the wrong tempo. The whole tape was like a poor rehearsal.
Roger should have just sung as he always has, until now, brilliantly.
He is my most favourite Singer, still.

The recordings are crisp & clear the performances are good. This is a good Christmas album- by RW whom has a very distinct voiceing that is
unique to him only-very good, very nice.

Although many are no longer aware of Roger Whittaker, this is a Christmas album that holds up for the ages. His voice is beautiful and deep and is well suited to Christmas time. Although personally I prefer his original Christmas collection (with all orginal songs), if you like the classics very well sung, than this is the album.

I love this CD! It has some of my favorite Christmas music on it. Roger Whittaker's excellent rendition of so many of the songs is unequaled. I have a good collection of Christmas music and I am so pleased to add this CD to my growing collection. I have enjoyed listening to it since I received it and it isn't even the Christmas season yet!
