This is one of those Mogwai songs that stays mellow the entire length and never builds up to a crescendo like some of their other stuff.Still awesome though(especially for free).

"Christmas Song" is a mellow instrumental piece by Mogwai, with what sounds like bells and soft steps up the musical scale. This might make a great pause for thought and feeling to be added in to your Christmas mix.

Everything by Mogwai is worth listening to. And they are a must see band line in concert. One of the loudest acts I've ever seen.

I have found they are still the best at this kind of music - ethereal, melodic, angst-filled art-rock.

I admit I've spent too much time on Amazon downloading free Christmas/holiday music. In my search, I've found this (and way too many others!).

After really listening to the song, I think it's well played but it just didn't click for me. It was enjoyable for a single listen but I don't see myself bothering with this track after having found a lot more free tracks for the season, I'm going to pass on purchasing anything from Mogwai that requires money. This was nice because it was free, but I can't envision myself buying anything else they've done.

It has a pleasant sound over all, and of course if you take the time to listen to the sampler and enjoy it even slightly, it's worth downloading the entire track because it is absolutely free.

Worth what I paid for it (free) but not much more for me.
