Good songbook, guitar not so much,

I got this book because I thought it might be a suitable Christmas songbook for my guitar students. Unfortunately, these songs are not playable on guitar in their current form. It says "guitar, voice, piano" on it, so I thought the songs would be in a playable format for guitar. The book does have guitar chords for each song, and a chord chart for each chord, but...who ever heard of a guitarist actually playing a song in the key of E flat? It is pretty clear somebody took piano music and wrote in guitar chords, without actually consulting a guitarist. The average guitarist would not be able to play most of these songs. For this to be a "guitar" book, all of the songs should be playable on guitar. Since these are children's songs, to make these songs playable by children, the songs should be in a key where ALL the chords can be played without any barring. I gave this book 4 stars (rather than fewer) because it is a good songbook, and it has some fun songs that children would enjoy singing along to.
