This book makes the people seem real--with real problems. I think it really highlights what happens to us when we close ourselves off from others after losing a loved one. Losing your home and all you have worked for can create havoc in a family--especially when we don't communicate our fears and feelings.

This is another charming story in a comforting series . . . definitely a must for those who have enjoyed the previous Cape Light families! I give a copy to my mother every Christmas and she always is pleased.

Love these books. Am reading the last Cape Light book and then will start on the Angel Island Series. Arrived as promised.

I bought this book on a whim off the clearance rack one Saturday.....the beautiful cover caught my eye. I read the inside cover & the story sounded like a good one. I took the book home (and I'm not a big reader) and I finished it in less than a week. The story was soooo good, I was wondering what was going to happen next the whole time that I just couldn't put it down. Now I find out there is a whole 10 book series, I'm super exicted & am ordering book 1 & 2 today!

Good story from Thomas Kinkade once more. He never disappoints me. His stories are a feel good vacation. This one is no different

This is the last book I obtained in the Cape Light series. I love them all. The plots and the continuing characters whet my appetite to read what happens in the next book! Is there a next book? Please say, "yes!"

This book follows the other Cape Light Books in being an interesting story with a great cast of characters.

I LOVE THIS SERIES OF BOOKS, AND THIS WAS JUST AS WONDERFUL AS ALL THE REST.

I found this insertion in the Cape Light series to be the weakest of all of the Cape Light books. These are meant to be light, fun reading. It should not be a chore to push through it. The constant complaining and whining of the main character in this installment (Jessica), was just way over the top. Perhaps this would happen in real life, but who wants to read about it? I also felt the solution they used in ending her dilemna was lame.

The only thing that saved the book was the other story they had going about Jack Sawyer. That was fun and great reading for the genre. Just what fans of the series have come to enjoy.

Of course, if you have read all the others, you will have to read this one too, but wait until it comes out in mass market paper.
