My dad us a fan of the movie, so my mom bought him this leg lamp as a hilarious Christmas gift. When the package arrived, it even came in the "FRAGILE" box, and I cannot wait for my dad to open it Christmas morning. So far, the quality of the lamp seems to be sturdy and well put together. The shade and lamp were packaged separately and were bubble wrapped well. I would recommend this lamp to any Christmas Story fan.

For as far back as I can remember my father has always had A Christmas Story played on repeat in our house on Christmas day. And watching it with him my family knows that his favorite scene is the scene the father gets his prize in the mail and it reads "fagile" on the side. I got this in the mail and set it up and it was perfect. I know this is a gift he will love.

I ordered this lamp thursday Sept. 29th and received it last night, Oct. 4th and I LOVE IT!! It came in a box that read "Fragile" :) and the lamp is absolutely perfect. The condition is amazing and very much like the one in the movie. I can't express enough how in love with it I am. I'm so excited and can't wait to put it in my big front window for all to see! If you're questioning yourself about ordering, do it, you will not be disappointed.

Recieved this today and absolutely love it! Only thing is if you want the TRULY authentic one you have to pay for the 50" lamp. However, this one is still awesome, sturdy, and well-made. This is not just some plastic novelty product that's gonna end up in the trash in a few years, but worth every penny. This will be right in my front window this holiday season, along with the inflatable leg lamp in the yard! Had many cars slow down last year to check that out so I can't imagine when people see the real thing! EXCITED!

I bought this lamp last year just in time for the christmas season (my family' first in our new home I recieved so many compliments on it EVERYONE loved it (with the exception of my mother-in-law who thought it was tacky). At first I was reluctant to spend so much on a christmas decoration but my mom talked me in to it, She said "Why not?, Its timeless!" I love that woman.....
