Beautiful book full of the Word of life
I had been searching for a picture book that told the Christmas story using the scriptures. This was the only one I found. The artwork is stunning, and the King James Version is very readable. The fact that the book uses scriptures from more than one gospel is an added benefit. While I wish the book size was bigger allowing one to see the artwork more clearly, and...

Picture Book Version of the Christmas Story
I gave this book only three stars because, being familiar with the original full-size picture book which has among the most gorgeous illustrations ever to grace the Christmas story, I was disappointed in this small edition. It's nice enough but not nearly as beautiful as the original. I'll keep looking amongst the used-book sellers for that one.

The fact that the book uses scriptures from more than one gospel is an added benefit. While I wish the book size was bigger allowing one to see the artwork more clearly, and make it more interesting for my children's eyes, it is definitely a welcome and beautiful addition to our library and our Christmas traditions.

I'm happy with this book and it's beautiful illustrations. I was looking for a book taken from the bible. It's smaller than expected but that is fine with me.
