This is a really funny book,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Christmas Toy Factory (Geronimo Stilton, No. 27) (Paperback)
This book is part of the Geronimo Stilton series. Geronimo Stilton is a famous mouse that runs a newspaper called The Rodent's Gazett, the most popular paper in New Mouse City were Geronimo lives. This story takes place during Christmas and Geronimo is about to do his Christmas stuff when Grandpa Williams who founded the paper comes in and tells Geronimo that if he does not do his work then he will be kicked out of the boss chair. So Geronimo works and misses his favorite nephew Benjamin's play and Benjamin is sad and runs home when Geronimo comes to say sorry. He also says his workers can't have a party and turns down all his friends because he has too much work. The on Christmas Eve during the time Santa should be delivering presents, Geronimo has a dream and end up at the North Pole. When Geronimo sees Santa, Santa has thee measles and can't deliver the presents so he ask Geronimo to do it. Does Geronimo deliver the preasents and dose he learn the true meaning of Christmas? I think this is a good book about Christmas and it will make you laugh.

All of the Geronimo Stilton books are entertaining. The pictures are on most pages and the characters are interesting. I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who raced through the book in two days. She loved the Christmas theme. The whole series is great!

One Great Geronimo Stilton!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Christmas Toy Factory (Geronimo Stilton, No. 27) (Paperback)
This is one of my favorite Geronimo Stilton books, because in this book Geronimo meets Santa. Geronimo also got to fly Santa's sleigh and give out the presents. Geronimo's Grandfather William tells Geronimo to work. So Geronimo thinks that he has to work over the holiday, but Grandfather William was just playing a joke on him. Then Geronimo dreams that he meets Santa and learns that his grandfather was just playing a trick on him.

Another fun book from the series,

Geronimo Stilton, publisher of the Rodents' Gazette, is taking the fun out of Christmas. He thinks that if he doesn't work hard enough, he will loose his job. Then Santa Clau becomes sick and he has to take Santa's job. What will happen to Christmas? This book is okay, but others in the series are far better.

I have no issues with the book itself, - my son loves Geronimo Stilton.
But reading it on the Fire, the reading area is very small, less than half the size of the screen. You can tap on each individual page and it zooms to full screen. Then you need to tap the X to go back to reading mode. That must clearly be a mistake.

Stilton, Geronimo Stilton,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Christmas Toy Factory (Geronimo Stilton, No. 27) (Paperback)
I liked it because it was funny and it has colorful words. Geronimo was such a book mouse that he gets so into working that he sometimes forgets about his family. In the end, he learned don't lose yourself in your work, spend time with the people you love. I read two Geronimo Stilton books in one day. I'm really into those books.

I recommend this book to everyone! Geronimo Stilton works at The Rodent Gazette which prints out newspapers for mouselings. Geronimo Stilton wants to get rich so he'll miss the Christmas party. My favorite part of the book is when Santa asks him to deliver the presents to children. Will Geronimo Stilton be able to send the presents to the kids and mouselings? Find out in the wonderful book, The Christmas Toy Factory.

My child loves all of these 'Geronimo Stilton' books. He found them in the school's library and now I am buying the rest of the series from Amazon, as we are living in South Africa and we couldn't find them in the books shops. I think they are very educational and I enjoy reading them.

A Bit Harder to Read but Still Lots of Pictures!,
By
This review is from: The Christmas Toy Factory (Geronimo Stilton, No. 27) (Paperback)
One day I wanted to read a harder book. I was looking in the library, when I saw this book. It had a great picture on the cover, a picture of Geronimo Stilton, a mouse in a Santa suit. Even though this book is a bit harder to read it still has lots of pictures. I also like the words in different fonts and colors. That makes it fun to read. This book is for Christmas and it is very funny. There is a little story of Santa too. Santa has a problem and Geronimo delivers the presents in the Santa suit. The author is an Italian man who calls himself Geronimo Stilton. I think he is a great author. He makes lots of new words like Holey-Cheese! It is my favorite. If you want to read a little bit harder books this is the series for you! --By Tobias (a student in msdu's class) |
