A Very Enjoyable Regency Romance,

Miss Ernstine Matthewson was sent by her father to the British outpost in war-torn Portugal to bring her sister back to England. Poor Lenore's husband was missing in action and likely never to return. Ernestine vowed never to form a similar attachment to a soldier....until she met handsome Colonel Ave Sommerton --- all her best intentions just went to Hades.
Surprisingly, the story turned out to be very enjoyable. Both the hero and the heorine were intelligent and had a good sense of humour. |
