5.0 out of 5 stars Cute & Reuseable, December 23, 2008

Here is a fun and easy holiday project. Everything you need is in the box. No need for glue; no cutting required. You take the precut pieces out of the box. Turn the box over, and begin building the tree by inserting paper tubes, which form the trunk. Then hang the branches on the trunk. If you can insert a tab into a slot, you can make this tree in a few minutes. Use it on your desk at work, in a hospital room, in a dorm, or put it on your holiday table. When the season is over, just take it apart and store it in the box. The kit also includes holiday themed oragami paper and instructions to make origama ornaments for this tree or your big tree. You could also use this as an advent countdown. There are 25 ornaments, so you could hang one on the tree everyday.

5.0 out of 5 stars great fun, December 25, 2007
This review is from: Christmas Tree In-a-Box (Misc. Supplies)
Just buy three of these--you'll find dozens of people to give this to once you've put one together. Get them for your favorite city singletons, anybody in a dorm, a hospital, a nursing home, a hotel, or for anybody's office. Instant Christmas. And it is fun and easy to put together. We decided most children over seven can put this together without much fuss and not get bored. It actually looks nice and retro.

My son had a ball putting this together. He put it on his night stand. This is a really cute idea and it was just as described here on Amazon. I am going to order more and keep a few around for secret santa exchanges or a cute hostess gift. If I still had an office to go to I'd want one on my desk!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for someone away from home, January 6, 2008

I sent this to my two college daughters far from home. They LOVED it. I would have given it five stars but one came without all nec. pieces to build it. She fabricated something to make it work so all ended well. I would buy this again.

Great if you don't want to deal w/a real tree! I thought it would be fun for kids to do, but maybe not -- takes a bit more patience, esp. to assemble the ornaments, but it's a neat looking tree, and the price on Amazon can't be beat. It's a fun hostess gift too.
