Great for the whole family. The singing from the Children is spectacular, from the tradiditional Silent Night in German to the humor of Hot Cup of Cocoa and Please Don't Send Me Fruitcake.
A must for all ages.

What a great album - fun arrangements, beautiful harmonies. This is one of the best Christmas albums I have heard or bought in a long time. "Gloria" will be one of my favorite tracks from now on. This album is all I expected and more. If you love Christmas music then you need this album.

My husband and I opened this cd and played it for the first time tonight. It was like hearing a choir of angels. I am dead serious when I say that I have NEVER heard voices as beautiful as the Von Trapp children. I have just orded two more of their cd's, and I intend to order everything they record. DO NOT miss this one. It is an absolute gem!

Wow! I was excited to get this because I knew that any von Trapp was great, but these children are fabulous! There voices are so clear and beautiful! I'd give them way more stars then 5 if I could. The traditional Christmas tunes are lovely and the random fun ones are funny! "Mary Did you Know" is such a beautiful song...great...get this CD!

I always knew that this CD was going to be great, but this is really good. All of the songs are my favorite, but I really like Angels We Have Heard on High. This is a terriffic CD, and I can't wait for when vol. 2 gets here!

I have been a progressive Hard rock heavy metal singer for over 19 years. I am a lover of harmonies no matter what instrument is doing them. I first heard this album (specifically the song African Gloria) while browsing in Yankee Candle's "Black forest" room. I was moved by that song and I still am when I hear the clip now. I immediately ordered it. What I can say is that these kids are not doing any easy tasks...I am a singer and I know what it takes to get the harmonies and dynamics what they are. I give them 2 thumbs up and urge them to always continue. Childrens choirs are wonderful and in my opinion spark a Holy part of us. 5 stars!

This is our favorite Christmas album because songs are tradition versions (nothing modern) and it's performed by children.

My mom purchased this CD years ago and we've been searching for a copy for my family ever since. Now that we have a copy, we haven't stopped listening to it this season. This CD's simplicity will warm your heart. It would make a wonderful gift but be sure to get one for yourself as well!
