The product as shown in the advertising seems larger than the actual size. The ear rings themselves are well made of fine silver, detailed, delicate and reminiscent of a real snowflake. I think they are even more attractive and subtle because they are not oversized and gaudy. When they arrived they were packaged in a small zip lock bag (not so classy) within a black velvet bag (very classy). I understand however that this was probably done to protect the velvet bag. I'd just repackage them if giving this item as a gift... and they make a fine gift for a woman who knows how to accessorize for the season.
