Louise Thornton grew up caring for her family, but had been a young model when she met, fell in love, and married the rising British movie star Tobias "Toby" Thornton. No longer modeling, Louise always put Toby's wants and needs before her own. She denied any rumors about Toby having affairs, though she knew they were true. But now they have an eight-year-old son, Jack. When Louise realizes another affair has begun, she knows that for Jack's sake it all has to end. She informs Toby that she wants a divorce.

Ben Oliver knew Laura Hastings, the elderly actress who lived at Whitehaven. Before Laura died, Ben promised to come by the Georgian mansion occasionally to cull the weeds. It has been about two years since he made that promise. Ben has been divorced a few years now and shares time with Jasimine (his eleven-year-old daughter) with his ex. Ben is surprised when he comes face-to-face with the new owner of Whitehaven. He had no idea that the place had been sold. Neither Ben, nor Louise thought the other to be a suitable match, but sometimes things just click.

*** This one is pure romance. No real drama or excitement, except for the occasional annoying paparazzi sneak attacks, to interrupt with the blooming feelings between the two main characters. This is perfect for your next vacation or a quite evening alone at home. ***
