I've always loved John Tesh's Christmas CD's. They're the ones I play most during the holidays. Just classic and so fitting during Christmas every year. So I was happy to hear that he had a new one out. It's a lot different than his past Christmas CD's but I still love it. And best of all, to my surprise there was a DVD included. A wonderful surprise. I decided to take a peek at the DVD which is called Christmas in Positano. I had been to Italy with my husband and was curious to see what Christmas was like in Positano. Well, there was no snow but it was still so beautiful. My favorite songs are Carol of the Bells and It Wouldn't Be Christmas Without You. I really liked This is Your Gift too. It's great to have new Christmas songs. But I loved the new arrangements of the traditional songs, Joy To the World and Hark the Herald Angels sing too. I've decided to buy a couple more to give away as gifts. I might have to give them early though so my friends can play them throughout the holidays as well. Thanks John for making my holidays that much nicer.

I had resisted getting this Cd for a couple of years. I love John Tesh's music and I wanted to hear him do more original material....but I finally broke down and bought "Christmas Worship." What a surprise! the original songs are wonderful and the arrangements of familiar Christmas Carols are fresh and lyrical without descending into the realms of elevator musak. Mix that with some of the best 'new ' worship songs; 'Hungry', 'We Fall Down', 'Awesome God' then

add in the bonus DVD which is a kind of "Christmas in July" experience and you have great music at a good price in a package that makes a wonderful gift to assist loved ones to get into the Christmas spirit in style.

Pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of a DVD in addition to the CD. DVD is beautifully done and adds an lasting dimension to the music. The best new spiritual music for 2003 Christmas season.

Unfortunately, John Tesh is one of those artists who doesn't get enough respect. (Barry Manilow is another, for example.) So here's hoping that "Christmas Worship" does, indeed, get the respect it deserves this Holiday season. This CD is a beautiful collection of instrumental Christmas carols, a few familiar praise songs, and also a few Tesh originals. Once again, as he did on his previous release, "A Deeper Faith", John sings lead vocal on a few songs, and does it very well, I might add. "This is Your Gift", is a great album opener, while "It Wouldn't Be Christmas Without You" is his bid for the "Jim Brickman" market. It deserves to be a hit on "lite" radio stations this Christmas. Meanwhile, the instrumental tracks are excellent, adding a rhythm track here and there, along with some great orchestration, not to mention some restraint in keeping the arrangements for going "over the top". Another highlight is "We Bow Down"; not a Tesh-penned song, but the interpretation found here is quite powerful. Special mention should also be made of the 9/11 recitation, "God in the Stairwell". Moving though it may be, I would question the inclusion of this track on a Christmas album, but I'm sure I'm in the minority here. Doesn't mean it's not excellent, though. Just my opinion..... In short, this is a first-rate effort from John Tesh. Don't dismiss it just because you THINK you don't like his music.

Fantastic as always. I love anything done by John Tesh. His music is awesome! And this CD is equally as good....

The music is great and the DVD is the best. Beautiful visuals and music combine to create a spiritually uplifting experience. I am surprised to see such few reviews. Don't let the lack of feedback negatively influence you. This is a great DVD and CD. You'll find yourself watching it year round. Check it out. You will be very glad you did.

This album is great! I enjoyed it and was inspired. The track,
"God In the Stairwell", gave me goose bumps! Even if you don't normally like Tesh's style, this one is an exception.
