We try to find one memorable Christmas album each year. We happened across this one and ordered it after listening to some of the samples. The CD arrived today and we have just listened to it. This album is definitely the find of the year. The amazing power of this album defies words. This is what Christmas is really about. The music is wonderful, but the voice of Yolanda Adams is the real gift in this music. She has incredible range and clarity. However, when she sings you know she feels what she is singing. If you are looking for Christmas music that is uplifting and joyful, this is it. All I can say is, if you only get one Christmas album this year, give yourself a gift with this one.

Yolanda is so talented that she can make old Christmas songs sound new.

She put a different twist on the songs and made them sound genuine and magnificent.

I love #10 of the album because it's upbeat and has a little bit of the old gospel sound to it. #1 on the tape is excellent too and you know that she adds her own words toward the end of her song, because she talks about her husband and her new baby to-be, Taylor Crawford. She even made that sound good.

I really wish that she would come out with a video for this album or for the Mountain High, Valley Low album. Even if it's a video of her in the recording studio, that would be great. She had a video made for her Live at Washington album (it's a must buy!), and it was great. Yolanda seems like she's easy going and likes to have fun while singing praises to God.

She's a soldier for Christ singing songs that uplifts God and ministers to his people. She's anointed and I pray for her all the time that she will go higher and higher in Christ Jesus and that she will change the lives of many through her song ministry. Support her ministry and buy this album and the past ones. You'll be blessed.

Yolanda Adams rocks the house on this new CD. She comes us with more contemporary sounnd, but still continues to remind us that she is singing to the Lord of Lord and King of Kings. This CD is one that you will want to play while just milling around the house. The only problem with the CD is that the songs sound quite similar. There isn't a lot of variety. But with Yolanda's great voice, I didn't seem to mind. Some of the best songs include "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "O Holy Night", and "Carol of the Bells/What Child is this." These are the songs that stick out to me the most right now;) This is a great Christmas CD . . its worth your money!

I bought this album on a whim. I'm not especially a fan of Yolanda Adams, save for 2 songs. However, I was not disappointed by this CD, and I am quite impressed with her voice. This woman SANG on this CD, do you hear me? She sang her heart out - her interpretations of the classics, as well as the ad libs on the more "jesus is the reason for the season" songs have me filled with the spirit and happy in general. I have been playing this song for the past few weeks, and have a feeling that I'll be playing it all year round. This CD, for me, makes up for the fact that Anita Baker doesn't have a Christmas CD - which she needs to do soon! (The first track, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, is my favorite - Judy Garland's version used to top the list - now Judy falls 2nd to Yolanda.)

I love this Christmas CD. Yolanda Adams has made wonderful gospel music for years and now she brings us traditional christmas songs with her own style of song and praise--this is truly a blessing. This is one for the christmas tree and every holiday season.

I am not a Yolanda Adams fan. However, this Christmas CD is good. During the holidays, I prefer Christian music verses the traditional. This CD is very uplifting and put "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" into memory. Over all, a great gift for anyone!

My favorite Christmas album. Probably even my favorite CD overall. Each year I can barely wait for the holiday season to roll around because I so anxiously want to break out this CD. Such class, professionalism, and polish! Makes you really feel the warmth and joy of season and reminds you why Christmas is such a special time.

The singing and production and on this CD is flawless!!! I have enjoyed this CD every Christmas holiday since it's release back in 2000. This is my 2nd purchase; my previous copy mysteriously disappeared and my Christmas is just not complete without this cd. Yolanda is at her best on this project!!! Love every song from the begining to the end!!

Yolanda Adams' Christmas CD is simply beautiful. I love the arrangments of all the songs on this disc. I can listen to the whole CD over and over again. Her rendition of The Christmas Song is my favorite. You will not be disappointed with this album.

The song "Born This Day" is wonderful. Different, uplifting and easy to sing to. I couldn't get it out of my head. What a find Yolanda is! I hope this song becomes a classic. It definitely caused me to buy this CD. God bless this gifted singer.
