For all lovers of Traditional Christmas Music, this is an amazing album. It's filled with warm and traditional carols. With Rick's rich voice and subtle backgrounds, it really gives a wonderful feeling of Christmas. The title track, Christmas With You, is dedicated to all the fallen troops who served our country. It hits home to anyone who has had to celebrate a holiday away from those they love. There are 2 instrumental sons in the album as well, and they give this album a little something different. I recommend it to all those who are lookin gfor a little Christmas spirit heading their way.

I received this CD as a gift from my best friend this Christmas. I was going to purchase it for myself but was overjoyed to see that she knew me so well.

Rick still has it and he always will. His smooth soulful voice gets me everytime. I've been a big fan my whole life and loved him on General Hospital. He's a giving man and I wasn't surprised at all that he's giving again. This time to the mother's of our troops. God bless them and God bless Rick. He never ceases to amaze me.

I saw him this year in June in concert and he's still SO SO much fun and a ball of fire. He's a beautiful man inside and out and hasn't lost it not one bit.

This album is beautiful, filled with old and new classics alike. So, if you like Rick Springfield and you like Christmas. This is a win win situation. I think that even if you didn't give Rick a try before now, this will become one of your very favorite Christmas albums to treasure. The video to this new song is amazing. I cry every time I see it. So, naturally, I down loaded it to my new Ipod that I got for Christmas.

This is such a great CD! I just received it yesterday after pre-ordering and have listened about 4 times all the way through. Rick sounds great, quite sexy and raspy in a good way! The way he adds his style to each of the classic songs is wonderful. I am a huge fan of this CD already! The title track is beautiful and the lyrics so meaningful!

"CHRISTMAS WITH YOU", specifically the title song puts words and music to emotions and grief that I as Mother of Fallen Soldier SSG Patrick Lee Lybert KIA 21 June, 2006 Gowardesh Afghanistan am unable to express. "So I pray to heaven sweet mother and child that my only wish will come true, I'd give anything to see you again and to have this "CHRISTMAS WITH YOU". Tears roll as I listen to the lyrics that touch my wounded heart.

Rick's video production for this album is equally heart rendering. My only comment being this, It's not just Iraq...... Remember our Soldiers serving in Afghanistan, Remember our Fallen of Afghanistan, "The Forgotten War" of Afghanistan must be acknowledged and actively remembered as we advocate for support of our many troops currently serving and fighting in Afghanistan.

I was surprised, upon first listen, at just how smooth and traditional Rick's versions of these Christmas classics actually are. He sticks very close to the age-old arrangements we all know and love, yet adds some wonderful celtic instrumentation here and there, as well as superb Beach Boys-like backing vocals at just the right places! The CD is wonderful! Enough said! One of the finest Christmas recordings to come out in years, far-exceding mega-hits like Josh Groban's "Noel," though sadly, Rick's CD will most likely just disappear without a trace. Sad, because it is wonderful and deserves to become a Christmas classic!

I have to admit, I was somewhat less than enthusiastic when I heard that Rick Springfield was coming out with an album of Christmas music. However, I am happy to report that Springfield should have done a Christmas album YEARS ago! "Christmas With You" is WONDERFUL! The title track is moving and beautiful - a marvelous tribute to all those who are separated from loved ones during the holidays. The doo-wop style cover of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is the first treatment of that World War Two classic tune that leaves me smiling, rather than weeping. "Deck The Halls (With Boughs Of Longboards)" is fresh and fun.

"Christmas With You" is a welcome addition to my collection of holiday music - I can hardly wait for the Christmas season to officially begin!

This is a wonderful Christmas CD with hymms and Christmas songs. There is a beautiful new song dedicated to the troops serving our country.
I am playing this in my car everyday for my kids to listen to great Christmas songs and Rick does a terrific job in the arrangements of these classics. BUY THIS CD you wont be disappointed!

If you're looking for a holiday CD that doesn't sound like the same ol' same you've heard more than a dozen times on the local "Lite-FM" radio station, why not give Rick Springfield's new Christmas album, entitled "Christmas With You" a listen, and you'll discover quite a holiday treat.

Unlike other Christmas albums from rock stars who attempt to transform classic Christmas songs into rock 'n roll fare, Rick Springfield wisely doesn't do that. Instead, he goes for a more "traditional" sound with this wonderful collection of traditional Christmas songs, along with an original song, entitled "Christmas With You".

It's the title track which sealed the deal for me, because "Christmas With You" is such a powerful and deeply moving song, about someone who's away from those whom he loves, and his one wish is to spend Christmas with those whom the cares about most. The title song was written by Rick in tribute to those who are currently serving in the U.S. military, and it's a song which will make you more than a little misty-eyed.

"Christmas With You" is also a fun album to listen to while you're trimming the tree, decorating the house or writing out your Rickmas ... I mean Christmas cards. All in all, it's a pleasant collection of Christmas music, done with heartfelt passion and a lot of fun (check out his surf-inspired twist on the classic "Deck The Halls" and you'll hear what I mean).

So be sure and get this CD, and enjoy the holiday fun!

Love this CD!! Rick's singing is so heartfelt, and this is just a joy to listen to. Nice selection of songs. Some on here are complaining of the "raspiness" in his voice, but actually, it sounds pretty darn sexy ! Been a fan for many years, and I'm glad Rick finally got around to doing a Christmas CD. It's a treasure. Merry Rickmas !!! Don't miss out on this one !

I recently received my copy in the mail, and was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of this CD. I really enjoyed the fact that it has an acoustic feel to it -- it made the quality much better being able to really hear Rick's voice shine through. It was soulful, mellow and soothing -- everything I would expect from a Christmas CD. If you're thinking of brushing this CD off because it's Rick Springfield, think again. You might be more than pleasantly surprised as well.
