I don't usually care for Christmas albums, finding them rather bland...but this CD is extraordinary ! Any time, any day, it will lift your spirit. There are moments of such artistry your heart will be filled with joy. With this CD, it can be Christmas every day of the year.

The reason for buying it was Alejandro Fernández, and all of his songs are exquisite, but so is the rest of it, starting with the great Plácido Domingo's "Y Nos Vamos a Belén", and Patricia Kaas' unique style and voice complete this terrific vocal ensemble. Listen to them sing the "Silent Night" finale...it's utterly awesome !

My favorite tracks are Alejandro's fabulous rendition of "Blanca Navidad" ("White Christmas"), and his duet with Kaas on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Sung in English, it's a total knockout ! This CD deserves 5 stars just for this 2 minutes and 48 seconds alone. It's sheer perfection. What I wouldn't give to have the video of this incredible concert !

This Cd Features Two Of My Favorite Singers...Alejandro Fernandez & Patricia Kaas!! Both Share Their Beautiful Voices And Sing Wonderful Songs, Yet, It Is Alejandro Who's Voice Is Stunning & Magical Singing These Christmas Songs!! His Versions Of "White Christmas" & "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" Are SOOO Beyond Words!! Alejandro Please Record A Christmas Cd!! Your Fans Are Waiting!!

The range of musical styles and cultures from which these classic songs originate are great. One of Kaas's styles was a bit of a surprise. Domingo put tears in my eyes on several occasions. The orchestra was really great...dynamic and precise. The careful enunciation of words by these professionals made the words in all languages understandable. The live audience recording let you share your emotions.

The first time I heard about this CD, was when I saw a TV special of the three artists (Domingo, Fernandez, Kaas) performing it live. I was hooked. Placido Domingo is a well-known figure worldwide, being one of "The Three Tenors", and having, at least in my opinion, the best voice of the three. He doesn't fall short in this CD. All of his interpretations are top-notch. Alejandro Fernandez also shines with his great talent. His solo performance of "Blanca Navidad" and "El Nino Del Tambor", show just how talented the Mexican balladeer is. Smooth, gentle, yet a commanding voice, which he deploys effortlesly. Many listeners, will probably find Patricia Kass as the weak link in the trio. However, she does present the audience with a nice performance of "Amours éternels". Overall, the CD is a pleasant addition to any music lover.

Domingo, Kaas and Fernandez were truly magnificient together. It is refreshing to hear many of our Christmas favorites sung in many different languages. This CD is total class from beginning to end. Kudos also go to the children's choir and orchestra. I found it breathtaking to listen to. It is a must have for everyone.

This is the best Christmas cd I've ever heard. I doubt any other Christmas cd can come close. I got attracted to it because I am a huge fan of Alejandro Fernandez and have all of his cds. His solo performaces are exquisite and it's such a treat hearing him sing in English. Placido Domingo doesn't fall behind though. His singing is exquisite as well, he has such a unique style that you fall in love instantly with his voice. I have to admit, I'm not a big opera fan, but Placido is absolutely wonderful in this cd. Patricia is my least favorite of the trio. I mean, she is good but nothing like Alejandro and Placido. All in all, this cd will keep you in the Christmas mood all year long. TRUST ME!!!!!
