5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, eye-opening, astounding, December 2, 2007
I recommend this for any lovers of history. If you want first hand insight into the mind of the 15th century empire builders, this book is priceless.
The layout is very helpful: English, Spanish and Latin text are well typed out and easy to follow. An astounding account. You will come away with awe at the exploits of bravery, subjugation, and conquest. You will also get a good idea of the power of the Catholic church and its role in those times. This was occurring at the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Excellent.
