"Cancer can be a door to a new life."
Christopher Foster, author, blogger and colon cancer survivor, is passionate about sharing his message of courage and hope with other cancer patients--and their loved ones--facing the fear and distress of a cancer diagnosis.
In January 2016 Chris was honored by the American Cancer Society when they published a story about his experience with cancer in the very popular 'Stories of Hope' section of their website www.cancer.org. The story, entitled "Colon Cancer Survivor Says Routine Screening Saved His Life," was published prior to Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March 2016.
Now in his 80's--and happier than ever before in his life--Chris also likes to promote the possibilities and potential of aging whenever he has a chance. One of his books is entitled, 'The Secret Promise of Aging.
Born in London, Foster wrote his first story in an old scrapbook as a child in the early days of the Blitz before being evacuated to the Devon countryside. He is the author of seven inspirational books, one of which, The Raven Who Spoke with God, was published in eleven foreign language editions.
Chris is a former reporter and weekly newspaper editor. He lived and worked in London, Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), New Zealand, and British Columbia before moving to Denver to marry a wonderful woman named JoAnn.
